Turkey leads in grape exports to Russia

According to Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, Turkey has been leading in grape exports to Russia for the fifth season in a row.

In the period from July 2012 to April 2013, Russia has slightly increased imports of Turkish grapes year-on-year to 132,000 tonnes. In such a way, Turkey's share in grape exports to Russia amounted to 37%.

We would remind you that Russia also import significant volumes of grapes from Uzbekistan, Moldova, Chile and Peru.

More information about the Eastern European market developments and outlook will be presented at the 1st International Exhibition-Conference “Golden Bunch of Grapes – 2013”, which is to take place in Simferopol, Ukraine, August 22-24, 2013.
