Polish sour cherry production to be lower than expected
Polish sour cherry production will be lower than expected this year.
Long and frosty winter as well as frosts in the first half of spring led to worse sour cherry crop in orchards. The experts also say of weak blossoming due to low temperatures in the winter period. As a result, Polish growers expect sour cherry production to be 20% lower than expected this year.
We would remind you that Poland ranks third in the global sour cherry production and is behind only Russia and Turkey.
