Chilean raisin exports to Russia up
Chile shipped 5,500 tons of raisins to the Russian Federation in the first 11 months of the season 2012/13, an increase of 38% year-on-year. Chile has also increased its share in Russia's total imports: 12% against 10% a year ago.
Despite higher exports, Chile is still the third largest exporter of raisins to Russia. Iran and Afghanistan are the leaders.
