Record high exports of Polish apples to Russia in July
Poland keeps on increasing apple exports to the Russian Federation, according to the official statistics.
In July 2013, Poland shipped 17,000 tons of apples to Russia, an increase of 60% year-on-year and the highest result for July over the previous 5 years. For comparison, Russia purchased just 11,000 tons of Polish apples in July 2012.
Poland still remains the leader in apple exports to the Russian Federation. In particular, Poland's share in Russia's total apple imports amounted to 36% in July this year.
