Grapes rank sixth in fruit sales in Ukraine
Grapes are the sixth most popular fruit among Ukrainians, according to Fruit-Inform.
Ukrainians annually consume about 60,000-65,000 tons of grapes. For comparison, the Ukrainian market for fresh apples reaches 450,000 tons annually, and apples are the most consumed fruit in the country.
Citrus fruits rank second, and their market in Ukraine averages 420,000-430,000 tons annually. Bananas are the third most popular fruit among Ukrainians with their sales annually reaching 230,000 tons.
