Russia: 1.31 mln tonnes of grain sold in 28 days of grain interventions

Exchange tenders at the state commodity interventions are continued on the grain market in Russia. According to the press-centre of Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange, on May 11 the participants of exchange tenders bought 52,300 tonnes of grain, including 20,900 tonnes of 3 class wheat at average prices 4576 RUR/mt, 22,000 tonnes of 4 class wheat at 3941 RUR/mt, and 9,400 tonnes of milling rye (Group A) at 2576 RUR/mt.

Thus, during 28 days of exchange tenders there were sold 1,31 mln tonnes of grains from State Reserve of Russian Federation, including 405,500 tonnes of 3 class wheat, 692,500 tonnes of 4 class wheat and 210,000 tonnes of milling rye.
