Russia: 1.36 mln t of grain sold in 29 days of grain interventions

Exchange tenders within the state commodity interventions are continued on Russian grain market. According to the press-centre of Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange, on May 12 the participants of exchange tenders bought 47,900 tonnes of grain, including 20,400 tonnes of 3rd class wheat at the average price of 4,505 roubles per tonne, 17,700 tonnes of 4th class wheat at 3,812 roubles per tonne, and 9,800 tonnes of milling rye (Group A) at 2,529 roubles per tonne.

During the 29 days of the exchange tenders there were sold 1.36 million tonnes of grains from the reserve fund, including 426,000 tonnes of 3rd class wheat, 710,100 tonnes of 4th class wheat and 219,500 tonnes of milling rye.
