Moldova more than doubles grape exports to Russia in July-August 2013
According to the official statistics, Moldova exported 3,400 tons of grapes to the Russian Federation in July-August 2013, 2.3 times of exports in the same period of the previous season. For comparison, Russia imported just 1,500 tons of Moldovan grapes in July-August 2012.
We would remind you that Moldova ranked fifth in grape exports to Russia in the season 2012/13 with total exports of Moldovan grapes to the Russian market standing at 19,000 tons.
