Still low sales rates of AJC in Russia

The Russian apple juice concentrate (AJC) market is still characterized by low trading and purchasing activity rates.

Sellers face problems with sales due to abundant supply and moderate demand. The market participants say of still high supply of last year's AJC, therefore many processors reduce their prices. However, such a policy does not lead to better sales rates. In addition, the situation is aggravated by shipments of Chinese AJC to the Russian market.

Current prices of AJC in Russia are averagely 10% lower compared with early October 2012.
