Russia reduces imports of Ukrainian AJC
Russia has reduced imports of Ukrainian apple juice concentrate in the current season, according to the official statistics.
Russia's imports of Ukrainian AJC reached just 2,000 tons in September this year, a decrease of 43% from the same month of 2013. Cumulative imports over the period from July to September 2013 amounted to 7,000 tons, a decrease of 30% from the same period of the previous year.
We would remind you that the Russian Federation was the second largest importer of AJC from Ukraine in the season 2012/13 with Poland ranking first. Russia's share in Ukraine's total AJC exports amounted to 36%.
