Table grape prices up in Ukraine
Table grape prices have grown at Ukrainian wholesale markets compared with last week.
For the present, table grapes are offered at 1.68 euro/kg at Stolychnyi Wholesale Market (Kiev), an increase of 13% from the previous week. However, prices in early November 2012 were 14% higher.
As regards Krymskiy Privoz Wholesale Market (Simferopol, South of Ukraine), table grape prices grew there by 80% week-on-week and now average 1.87 euro/kg, a decrease of 9% from the same period of the previous year.
Prices at Ozerka Wholesale Market (Dnipropetrovsk, center of Ukraine) average 1.78 euro/kg, 15% higher compared with the past week and 6% higher than last year.
Table grape prices at Kopani Wholesale Market (Kherson, South of Ukraine) did not change week-on-week and stand at 1.40 euro/kg, an increase of about 50% from the price levels in the beginning of November 2012.
