Poland: imports of broccoli to start this week
The domestic broccoli season is coming to an end in Poland with large local amounts of this produce category to be available in the country for two weeks at most.
In view of limited supply, Polish growers have been raising their prices, and last week they stood at 0.38-0.47 euro per piece.
The market operators expect first imported amounts to be supplied to the Polish market already this week. Minimum prices of imported broccoli are believed to be quoted from 0.66 euro per piece.
