Kazakhstan's raisin imports down
Kazakhstan has significantly reduced imports of raisins in the beginning of the season 2013/14.
In July-September 2013, the country imported just 1,000 tons of raisins, a decrease of 50% from the same period of the previous season, when imports had reached 2,000 tons, one of the highest results in that period over the past 5 years.
We would remind you that Kazakhstan more than halved imports of raisins in the season 2012/13, and they amounted just to 7,000 tons.
