Ukraine: grape juice imports higher than exports
Ukraine's imports of grape juice in July-September 2013 were 10 times of exports, according to the official statistics. Ukrainian importers purchased 680 tons of grape juice, while Ukraine's exports amounted to 70 tons.
Spain was the largest exporter of grape juice to Ukraine in that period with the share of 65%. Turkey turned out to be the leader in imports of grape juice from Ukraine and accounted for the share of 80%.
It should also be noted that Ukrainian importers halved shipments in July-September 2013 compared with the same period of the previous season. At the same time, Ukraine's grape juice exports grew fourfold.
