Stable demand for red varieties in Polish apple market
The Polish market participants say of stable demand for export-quality red apples (Gala and Red Jonaprince varieties) in the country.
In view of steady demand, prices of red varieties are stable in the majority of cases. Apples from ordinary storage facilities and of low quality are sold at 0.16-0.19 euro/kg (size 65+) and 0.17-0.20 euro/kg (size 70+). Purchase prices of apples from storage facilities with cooling vary between 0.21-0.26 euro/kg (size 70+).
