Ukraine: apple prices significantly lower year-on-year
Prices of fresh apples are still low in Ukraine, according to Fruit-Inform price monitoring.
For the present, Ukrainian growers offer apples at 0.18-0.49 euro/kg, depending on quality and shipment volume, which is 20% lower compared with the same period of the previous season.
In connection with that, sellers with available stocks of high-quality apples do not hurry with sales in the hope of more favorable price levels. At the same time, growers with no equipped storage facilities are ready to make price concessions to buyers.
