Ukraine: AJC sales rates remain low
The Ukrainian AJC (apple juice concentrate) market is still characterized by low sales rates due to abundant supply and low demand (both in the domestic and export markets). Furthermore, processors face problems with sales even after reducing prices.
For the present, sellers fix prices of clarified AJC at 1,100 euro/MT, while prices of unclarified AJC average 800 euro/MT.
Selling prices have already fallen by 15% compared with last year's levels. Furthermore, sales rates in the previous season were more active, which enabled sellers to fix higher prices.
