Ukraine: apple prices still lower year-on-year
Despite the price growth in the Ukrainian apple market, apple prices are still lower compared with the previous year.
For the present, prices vary between UAH 3.00-5.50/kg (EUR 0.26-0.48/kg), depending on quality and shipment volume. Last week minimum prices of apples stood just at UAH 2.00/kg (EUR 0.17/kg).
At the same time, current prices still have not reached last year's levels. We would remind you that in the same period of the previous season Ukrainian farmers shipped apples at UAH 3.50-6.50/kg (EUR 0.30-0.56/kg).
