Poland: prices of export-quality pears up
Prices of export-quality pears have slightly gone up in Poland last week.
Polish exporters have revised purchase prices by 0.02-0.04 euro/kg in the hope of an increase in growers’ sales from CA-storage.
However, despite higher prices, sales did not increase.
For the present, growers ship Conference pears at 0.45-0.50 euro/kg (size 55+) and up to 0.60 euro/kg (sizes 65+ and 70+).
Purchase prices of Lukas pears vary between 0.43-0.48 euro/kg (size 60+) and 0.45-0.50 euro/kg (size 65+). High-quality pears (size 70+) are offered at 0.52-0.57 euro/kg.
