Poland: prices of cucumbers down
The Polish market participants say of a decrease in prices of domestic and imported cucumbers in the country.
Wholesale prices of imported produce have already gone down to 7.16 euro/ per 4.5 kg (about 1.43 euro/kg). For the present, imported cucumbers successfully compete with domestic ones due to higher prices of local produce, which now vary between 1.43-1.90 euro/kg.
At the same time, if weather conditions are favorable, the supply of domestic cucumbers will grow significantly in the market and result in a sharp decrease in their prices.
