Simferopol, Crimea, Ukraine: pear prices up by a third year-on-year

Pear prices have been growing at Krymskiy Privoz Wholesale Market, Simferopol, Crimea, Ukraine, due to a seasonal decrease in supply, and now are at least a third higher than registered in the same period of the previous season.

In particular, now sellers offer pears at UAH 29-39/kg (EUR 1.79-2.41/kg), depending on quality, variety, shipment volume and country of origin, an increase of 5-10% compared with the previous week.

We would remind you that in the same period of the previous season prices were averagely 40% lower than now.
