Russia: demand for stonefruits goes down
Stonefruit sales have sharply gone down in Russia this week. According to Fruit-Inform, the supply of stonefruits of Greek, Spanish, Serbian and Turkish origin has been gradually growing at Russian wholesale markets since the second half of June. Imports currently almost fully compensate shortage of domestic produce, as the stonefruit crops have seriously suffered from unfavorable weather conditions in the first half of spring in Russia. Current prices are slightly higher compared with the same period of the previous season, but they have been gradually going down this week due to high competition among importers.Only several groups of users can see full text of this article:
