Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine: sellers reduce plum prices
The Ukrainian market participants say of a decrease in plum prices at Ozerka Wholesale Market, Dnipropetrovsk.
For the present, sellers offer plums at UAH 15-20/kg (EUR 0.93-1.24/kg), depending on quality, variety and shipment volume, while a week before prices averaged UAH 25/kg (EUR 1.54/kg).
We would remind you that sales of domestic plums started in Dnipropetrovsk a week earlier than last year with first volumes being offered at prices almost twice as high as registered in the beginning of the previous season.
