Russia: prices of early apples down by 25% over a week
Prices of early apples are going down in Russia due to their growing supply. For the present, prices are already 20% lower compared with the same period of the previous season.
In particular, early apples are offered at RUB 15-35/kg (USD 0.42-0.97/kg), depending on variety, quality, shipment volume and sales region, now, a decrease of about 25% compared with the previous week, when prices had rarely been lower than RUB 20/kg (USD 0.56/kg).
Meanwhile, prices of early apples are going down also in the Ukrainian market.
