President signed VAT refund law
President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma has signed the law about amendments to the law of state budget of Ukraine for 2004, earlier adopted by Verkhovna Rada.
The law stipulates resumption of the right of VAT payers for usage of tax bills in VAT payments in import operations with wheat and rye, and also exemption of wheat, rye and barley exports from payments of the tax. The changes become valid since January 1, 2004 (the law is thus supposed to have backward effect).
The law takes effect since the day of its publication.
