Poland: pear prices down year-on-year
The Polish market participants say of a decrease in pear prices in the country.
For the present, growers offer pears at 0.29-0.33 euro/kg, a decrease of 12-15% week-on-week and 20-23% lower compared with the same period of the previous season.
The price situation is connected with a seasonal increase in the supply of pears in Poland and currently moderate demand for those fruits. Pear prices are also under pressure of lack of exports due to Russia's ban.
