Poland: prices of Chinese cabbage halve
The Polish market for Chinese cabbage is still characterized by negative price performance. For the present, the domestic supply peaks, while the demand for produce is extremely low both in the internal market and outside of the country.
Under those conditions, farmers have to keep on reducing their prices for Chinese cabbage. Prices went down by 15% over the previous week and have already halved since the beginning of this week. For the present, growers offer their Chinese cabbage at 0.19-0.24 euro/kg, a decrease of a third year-on-year.
