Rosselkhoznadzor satisfied with quarantine and phytosanitary inspection of Finnish seed potatoes
Russia's veterinary and phytosanitary watchdog (Rosselkhoznadzor) has finished phytosanitary inspection of samples of seed potatoes taken by its officials during the visit to Finland on November 25-27, 2014.
The laboratory analysis has identified no objects, which are considered quarantinable in Russia, and import of 3,890 tons of seed potatoes will be permitted. Rosselkhoznadzor has also shared those results with the Food Safety Agency of Finland as well as sent all necessary clarifications to the Federal Customs Service of Russia and Rosselkhoznadzor's local offices.
