Russia: 1.53 mln t of grain sold in 38 days of grain interventions

Exchange tenders within the state commodity interventions are continued on Russian grain market. According to the press-centre of Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange, on June 8 the participants of exchange tenders bought 2,900 tonnes of grain, including 850 tonnes of 3rd class wheat at the average price of 4,447 roubles per a tonne, 2,000 tonnes of 4th class wheat at 3,400 roubles per a tonne, and 100 tonnes of milling rye (Group A) at 2,500 roubles per a tonne.

During the 38 days of the exchange tenders from the intervention fund was sold 1.53 million tonnes of grain (98.5 percent of the whole intervention fund), including 474,500 tonnes of 3rd class wheat, 779,000 tonnes of 4th class wheat and 281,000 tonnes of milling rye.
