Russia: 1.54 mln t of grain sold in 39 days of grain interventions
Exchange tenders within the state commodity interventions are continued on Russian grain market. According to the press-centre of Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange, on June 16 the participants of exchange tenders bought only 4,700 tonnes of 4th class wheat at the average price of 4,447 roubles per a tonne.
During the 39 days of the exchange tenders from the intervention fund was sold 1.54 million tonnes of grain (98.8 percent of the whole intervention fund), including 474,500 tonnes of 3rd class wheat, 783,800 tonnes of 4th class wheat and 281,000 tonnes of milling rye.
