Kazakhstan: imports of Polish apples up by 50% in March
Poland keeps on expanding its presence in the Kazakh apple market: Kazakhstan has imported 11,000 tons of Polish apples in March 2015, an increase of 50% year-on-year.
Kazakhstan's cumulative imports of Polish apples in the period from July 2014 to March 2015 totaled 51,000 tons, almost twice as high as registered in the same period of the previous season.
As a result, Poland managed to become the leading supplier of apples to Kazakhstan with the share of about a half in Kazakhstan's total imports.
