Ukraine: apple prices up in Lviv
Prices of imported apples continue to grow in Ukraine against a background of closer start of harvesting early produce.
Sellers at Shuvar Wholesale Market managed to raise prices by 10-12% week-on-week, and now they sell apples at UAH 20-22/kg (USD 0.87-0.96/kg).
It should be noted that current prices in the UAH equivalent are 3.5 times as high as registered a year before, while prices of imported apples in the USD equivalent have just doubled year-on-year in Lviv.
