Armenian fruit and berry exports up by 70% year-on-year
Armenian fruit and berry exports have totaled 68,400 tons as of November 13, 2015, against 40,900 tons in the same period of the previous year, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia.
According to the latest data, grape exports totaled 10,500 tons against 5,800 tons a year before, and apple exports amounted to 980 tons against 16 tons in 2014.
As regards vegetables, exports of cabbage and cauliflowers have grown from about 2,000 tons to 10,100 tons, radish exports totaled 2,700 tons against 750 tons, and exports of herbs have gone up from 880 tons to 1,400 tons.
Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Iran were the largest importers of Armenian produce.
