Ukraine cannot legally limit imports of Russian grain

Ukraine cannot stop inflow of Russian grain to local market by was of adoption of any official document, limiting the import, Ukraine's Vice-Prime Minister for Agriculture Ivan Kyrylenko told reporters on July 9.

"We have a free trade regime and we have no rights to limit it", he said. However, he said, the government is not going to turn a blind eye to the problem.

It has been earlier reported that Ukrainian government is concerned by a probability of active supplies of Russian grain (especially - from adjacent regions) to local market because of more profitable price situation for sales of Russian grain on the Ukrainian market.
