Danish company to invest 12 mln euros into west Ukrainian livestock breeding enterprise
Danish company Danosha is going to invest 12 million euros into livestock breeding complex of Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast in western Ukraine, in particular - into hog breeding, UNIAN news agency informed with reference to Kalush district state administration of Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast.
According to the report, the Danish company has already completely acquitted the local pig breeding enterprise "Prikarpatskiy". After its reconstruction it is planned to bring from Denmark 7,000 breeding sows. In order to provide the enterprise with feeds, the investor plans to take on lease over 3,000 hectares of land in Kalush district and to use fields in other rural districts of Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast.
The pig breeding complex "Prikarpatskiy" is capable of keeping nearly 40,000 pigs at a time.
