Prices of Chinese cabbage down in Crimea
Crimean sellers are forced to reduce their prices of Chinese cabbage, according to Fruit-Inform.
Produce has become averagely 12% less expensive over the past week, and prices now vary between RUB 100-120/kg (USD 1.43-1.71/kg) against no lower than RUB 120/kg (USD 1.71/kg) a week before.
The Crimean market participants connect negative price trend with rapidly worsening quality of remaining stocks. Furthermore, a decrease in prices is also backed by moderate sales rates in the peninsula.
It should also be noted that current prices of Chinese cabbage are 33-41% lower year-on-year in Crimea.
