Armenia almost doubles fruit and vegetable exports in the beginning of 2017
Armenian fruit and vegetable exports in the first twenty days of 2017 have grown by 80% compared with the same period of the previous season, according to Mr. Robert Makaryan, Deputy Ministry of Agriculture of Armenia.
The export volumes totaled 2,300 tons against just 1,300 tons a year before. Grapes and greenhouse tomatoes were the main export categories with Russia as the largest buyer (the share of 85%).
