Modernized greenhouse complex put in operation in Orenburg region, Russia
On the 20th of January, the first phase of Kushkulsky greenhouse complex was put in operation in the Orenburg region, Russia, following the modernization, Svetich news agency reports on Monday with the reference to the regional Agriculture Ministry.
Kushkulsky greenhouses were founded as early as the year 1976. In 2016, a new owner embarked on the modernization of this enterprise.
The project envisages expansion up to 7 hectares with photoculture (tomatoes and cucumbers) and consists of two stages of construction. The first stage includes 4,04 hectares that will be used for raising vegetables with application of the most advanced equipment.
Implementation of the second stage is scheduled for 2017 and will cover 3,05 hectares of protected ground.
A total cost of the investment project is 1 billion rubles ($16,8 million).
