Ukrainian potato exports reach record high in June

Ukrainian potato exports have reached record high in June 2017, according to Fruit-Inform.

The export volumes totaled 6,000 tons, an increase of 70% compared with the same month of the previous year. We would remind you that Ukraine export just 3,600 tons of potatoes in June 2016.

Ukrainian exporters managed to raise their potato exports thanks to high demand for their produce in Belarus, a traditional leader in imports from Ukraine. As a result, Belarus accounted for about 98% of Ukraine’s total exports.
