Ukrainian farmers face logistical problems due to snowfall
Abundant snowfall (as well as bad weather conditions in general) in southern and partially eastern and central regions of Ukraine has forced farmers to stop shipping their fruits and vegetables completely, reports Fruit-Inform referring to Ukrainian market players.
According to growers, now the majority of farms from Kherson, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Cherkasy Oblasts are unable to dispatch their products due to unfavorable weather conditions. Meanwhile, market players from Mykolaiv Oblast say of less frequent logistical problems. Thus, farmers have the possibility to continue their sales. In their turn, growers from western regions have reported of no transportation problems.
