Odessa port will ship 2.5 mln t of grain this season

According to the information from management of Odessa Trading Seaport, the port's grain export cargoflow in this season (July 2004 to June 2005) is being forecast at the level of 2.5 million tonnes, which more than twice exceeds the amount of last season, SeaNews agency informed.

Export cargoflow of grains in Odessa port in September this year made 307,000 tonnes, which is 66 percent up from the amount, shipped in September 2003. Till the end of calendar year 2004 the port is planning to handle about 1.3 million tonnes of new crop grains.
