Ukrainian feed production increased 10 pc in December 2004
Production of Ukrainian feed in December, 2004 increased 10 percent compared to November, 2004 and amounted 153,200 tonnes as operative data of State Statistics Committee informs. Production increase made up 17,000 tonne (12 percent) in comparison with December, 2003.
The leading company in feed production is JSC Myronov Cereal and Feed Plant (32,000 tonnes), Agromas Complex (13,000 tonnes), JSC Boryspil Experimental Feed Plant (11,500 tonnes).
Feed stocks in plants at the end of December increased 1 percent in comparison with the previous month and totalled 13,200 tonnes.
In the period July-December the amount of produced feeds totalled 821,100 tonnes, which is 90,300 tonnes more (12 percent) from the same period last season.
