Timoshenko approved as Prime Minister of Ukraine
On February 4 Verkhovna Rada (the Parliament of Ukraine) supported the candidacy of Julia Timoshenko for the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine.
After approval of Ms. Timoshenko's candidacy by Parliament, President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko in the assembly hall of parliament signed a Decree about her appointment the Head of Ukrainian Government.
Julia Timoshenko was born in 1960 in Dnepropetrovsk. Since 1999 till 2001 held a position of Deputy Prime Minister for the Issues of Fuel and Power Generation Complex. Since January 24, 2005 has been In-Charge of the Prime Minister of Ukraine.
