New Agrarian Policy Minister appointed
On February 4, 2004 President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko signed a decree of appointing Olexandr Baranovsky the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
The People's Deputy of Ukraine Olexandr Baanovsky, born 1955, is an agronomy scientist. He is the member of the Socialist Party of Ukraine, the Head of budget sub-committee of Ukrainian parliament (Verkhovna Rada).
The position of Deputy Prime Minister for the Issues of Agro-Industrial Complex, formerly held by Ivan Kyrylenko, in the government of Julia Timoshenko has been abolished.
