In January Ukrainian ports transshipped about 522,000 tonnes of grain cargos

During January, 2005 Ukrainian ports transshipped about 8.79 million tonnes of cargoes, which is by 374,600 more than for the same period last year, as Ukrmorport, State Union of Ukrainian sea ports, informs.

In the first moth of the year the pace of transshipments was high. During the mentioned period it was shipped 570,500 tonnes of grains and products, where pure grains were 522,100 tonnes. These indexes are 90 percent up from last season's.
