Russian gvt. approved additional measures for meat imports regulation
According to press-service of Russian government, the PM Mikhail Fradkov on March 19 signed a resolution "On additional measures for regulation of imports of beef, pork and poultry meat".
According to the document, in case of introduction in 2005 by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phyto-Sanitary Control of a full or partial ban for imports of fresh, cooled or frozen beef, pork or poultry meat from some supplying country (a union of countries) on the reason of unfavourable epizootic situation in that country, an economic entity has a right for re-issuance of the licence for import of the same kind of goods from another country, irrespective of the size of the quota, established for that country.
