Transport Ministry prolonged transit tariff rates for some goods until June 30

Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine has issued an order, prolonging until June 30, 2005 the accorded tariff rates (established by the letter of Ukrainian railway department "Ukrzaliznytsia" of December 31, 2004) for transportation on the railway and handling in the ports of Ukraine of some categories of transit freights. The seaport regions, included in the order, are as follows: Larger Odessa (the ports of Odessa, Ilyichevsk and Yuzhny), Nikolaev (the ports of Nikolaev, Kherson and Oktiabrsky), Azov (port of Berdyansk), Ukrainian Danube (ports of Izmail and Reni), Crimean (ports of Feodosia and Kerch).

The accorded rates involve the basic range of mass-transported goods, including grain and mineral fertilisers, directed to most of the above-listed ports.
