The price on greenhouse cucumber and tomato is lower in Poland than in Ukraine
The daily wholesale price monitoring on vegetables and fruits conducted by the Agricultural Marketing Project shows that the prices on some kinds of early fruit-and-vegetable commodities remain relatively high in Ukraine. In particular, greenhouse cucumbers and tomatoes belong to the mentioned commodities.
Today on the wholesale market "Farmer" in Kyiv the prices on cucumber and tomato have decreased a little but still remained higher than in Poland, for example. On the largest wholesale Polish market "Bronishe", Warsaw, the average prices on cucumber and tomato have been today on 24-26% lower than in Kyiv, about USD $ 0.45/kg and 1.1/kg correspondently.
