First sweet cherry came to Odesa markets

This week first supplies of the locally produced sweet cherry were observed on Odesa markets, according to the information provided by Dmitriy Chernyak, the Market Information Specialist of Odesa office, Agricultural Marketing Project (AMP). The supplied volumes are insignificant, and the quality in most cases leaves much to be desired. Depending on the quality, the prices are fluctuating within USD $ 0.79-1.58/kg. The horticulturers of the South of Odesa oblast forecast the mass harvesting of sweet cherry of early varieties during the following two weeks.
