According to the data, provided to APK-Inform by Vasyl Soroka, the MinAP Crops and Seed Markets Department Chief, Ukrainian farmers have available today 3,400 MT of chemicals and another 2,000 MT are available at the distributors' warehouses. Projections for import of chemicals based on already concluded contracts are 7,200 MT thus exceeding last year's situation twice.
The situation with mineral fertilizers is as follows: farmers have available 187,000 MT of active substance, of which 160,000 MT is domestically produced which is 61,000 MT more than last year although this indicator is a mere 28% of required.
